Frequently Asked Questions About The Shop Location:

Do I need to call in advance or may I just come up to the shop?
There is no need to call in advance during our set open hours. If we have any problem being at the shop on that particular day, we will clearly put a message on the front page of our website. If you would like to call first during our closed shop hours, we would be happy to meet with you if we are available.

I want to come to the shop, but I can't reach you by phone to be sure you are available.
We receive so many phone calls, customer visits and e-mails each day that sometimes it is impossible for us to respond/answer immediately when you try to reach us, but we do try! If we are unable to answer the telephone when you call, please leave a message and someone will call you back immediately or within 24 hours.

When I get to your building, where do I go?
We are located on a single level building, so just come right in the front door. The sign above the door says "Globex/The BD Shop" Given we are located in a warehouse district we preferred some anonymity as to what our business' focus is.

What forms of payment do you except at the shop?
We are able to accept Visa, MC, AMEX, personal checks and cash.

Why are your open shop hours so limited?
Our main business includes the web site and traveling to events most weekends. A portion of our merchandise needs to be packed and loaded to vehicle, then transported to our weekend location. We travel to many of the US states so some of our staff are generally away Friday - Monday morning. We have so much merchandise kept in stock though, if we are away with a portion of the shop, every rack is still overflowing with great items! Our web site represents about 1/20th of our actual inventory. If our regular open shop hours are not convenient for you, please just call or e-mail us and we will try to set up an alternative time!
