Return Policies
Thanks so much for your business! We hope you are pleased with
your purchase, but if you are in any way dissatisfied with the products
you have ordered, please take a minute to read our return policy.
Regular Return Policy
We will exchange your item(s), give you a shop credit or issue
you a refund within 15 days of the original shipping date (Shipping
charges are nonrefundable) This means if you are dissatisfied with
your purchase, you must contact us by e-mail at buy@thebellydanceshop.com,
phone or fax within the first 15 days after your shipment left
our shop. The item(s) must be returned to our shop or post marked
within 30 days of the purchase with the original receipt/invoice
in its original condition (i.e. not worn, damaged by safety pins
or smelling of perfume, smoke, etc.) or we will not be able to process
your order. If the item(s) appear to have been worn or damaged,
we reserve the right to refuse refund privileges.
* Please note- There will be a $5.00 restocking fee applied
for all refunds up to $99.00 and a 10% restocking fee for returns
of $100.00 or more up to a maximum $50.00 fee. This is applicable
one-time per transaction. This fee is applied due to the
credit card or Internet fees our company has been charged for the
original sale.
If the item(s) is to be exchanged, the restocking fee as stated
above, will also be applicable and is charged one-time per transaction.
In this case, the fee will be used towards payment for the postage
to re-send the exchanged item back to the customer. When the restocking
fee is used to ship the exchanged items back, it is only applicable
for one exchange per order. If the second shipment still is not
suitable, the second return will have a $5 restocking fee and may
not be used to ship a third parcel. With each new web site order
a $5 return shipping/restocking fee cycle begins again. Due to some
clients address locations, the return shipment may be sent via UPS
or USPS.
Please do not just send the items back to us without informing
us in some way that you would like a refund. We ship many items
each day, all over the world and we do not want to delay your refund
due to any confusion. *Music CDs and DVDs are not returnable once
the packaging has been opened. Wholesale orders are not eligible
for return.

Policy
As it is difficult to purchase gifts for other people, we have
tried to create a return policy that will make Internet shopping
a breeze! On our web site, any gifts purchased between November
15th and December 25th may be returned to our shop until January
30th, for an exchange or shop credit only (Shipping charges
are nonrefundable) Please make a note in the "comments"
section of your order form stating that this purchase is a gift
item(s) for the holidays.
Please be sure that the return items have been post marked on or
before January 30th for an exchange or credit note to be applicable.
After that date, the items will be returned to the sender at the
sender's expense.
If you wish to exchange your item, please contact us by e-mail
at buy@thebellydanceshop.com, phone or fax. We ship many items each
day, all over the world and we do not want to delay your credit/exchange

Pineville Shop Holiday Return
Policy
In our Pineville NC shop, any gifts purchased between November
15th and December 25th may be returned to our shop until January
30th, for an exchange or shop credit only. This must be marked
on your receipt at the time of purchase or our regular return policy
is applicable, so please be sure to tell our sales associates when
you are checking out.
Returned items sent by mail must post marked on or before January
30th for an exchange or credit note to be applicable. After that
date, the items will be returned to the sender at the sender's expense.
(Shipping charges are nonrefundable)
Regular Return Policy- We may accept exchanges/returns for two
weeks after the date of purchase or must be notified via e-mail
at buy@thebellydanceshop.com within two weeks of date of purchase
and the item must be returned within 30 days of purchase.
